About the event
Your profiles at Deakin are key tools to ensure you can access research metrics quickly, manage your publication list easily, and get credit for all your work. This session will outline how to optimise and manage your Deakin Elements profile and ensure your list of publications is up to date.
Who should attend
- Researchers applying for promotion (see the Preparation Checklist on the Academic Promotions website)
- HDR students and professional research support staff may also find information helpful

- Know how to access Deakin's publication management system Elements
- Optimise the search settings in Elements to help the system automatically claim your publications
- Learn how to deposit your publications at Deakin
- Understand how publications appear in your Deakin staff profile
- Know who to contact for help
