Event
Researcher Training Intensive: Human research ethics and creating a plan to manage your research data
Event details
Presenter
Sally Fornaro has worked as an adviser in human research ethics and integrity at Deakin since 2007. As part of her role, Sally manages the human research ethics office, oversees Deakin’s ethics education and training program for researchers and ethics reviewers, and assists the University in interpreting and implementing relevant guidelines and legislation. Sally also plays a key role in facilitating and promoting the responsible conduct of research and was responsible for establishing Deakin’s Research Integrity Adviser Network in 2018.
About the event
Does my project involve human participants or their data or tissue? Do I need to get ethics approval to conduct my project? And if so, what will that involve? What’s a research data management plan and why would I want one anyway?
In this session, we’ll be answering these questions and many more. So, if you’re embarking on a new human research project here at Deakin, this is a great place to start!
Details on the presenter are below.
