Introduction to EndNote20

Event details

About the event

EndNote is fantastic software that helps you manage your references and cite them in your document as you write. Among other things, the software can import sources from databases and comes with many referencing styles. It is the perfect tool for extensive research projects or literature reviews.

The library recommends EndNote for researchers, HDR students and research administrators. If you are an undergraduate, we strongly recommend you start by reviewing the Deakin Guide to Referencing. It will save you a lot of time to learn how to reference before attempting to use reference management software.

In this session, you will learn how to:

  • install EndNote
  • import and manually add references to your library
  • customise and manage your library
  • back up your library
  • use Cite While You Write in Microsoft Word.
