About the event
Harmony Week celebrates the cultural diversity of Australia. It’s about inclusiveness, respect and giving everyone a sense of belonging. As part of Deakin University’s Harmony Week Fusion Festival, we are excited to welcome three Deakin authors for a discussion and Q&A hosted by Deakin Library.
Hero Macdonald, Deakin University Librarian, will introduce Dr Maria Pallotta-Chiarolli who will chair this event, joined by Teresa Capetola and Tyson Yunkaporta. They will discuss their writing, how it intersects with Harmony Week themes and the importance of hearing from diverse voices.
