About the event

This session will help you to develop your understanding of the responsible use of Generative AI tools in research and the importance of maintaining awareness of and compliance with policy and guidelines. You will explore case examples of GenAI use in different stages of the research life cycle and considerations for choosing and using GenAI tools in research.  

Some of the key areas we will cover are: 

  • Broad overview of GenAI use in the research lifecycle  
  • Ensuring transparency, reporting and referencing GenAI tool usage  
  • Case examples    
  • Considerations in using Gen AI  
  • Integrity issues.

The workshop will be useful for all HDR students from any discipline area. You may also be interested in reading our 'Responsible use of GenAI in research' LibGuide before or after the session.

This session will be recorded, and the recording will be sent out to all registered attendees.
