Deakin Library is excited to host a Pop-Up Showcase as part of this year’s Local Word Writers Festival. The showcase will feature a collection of rare Australian fairytale books from Deakin Library’s Special Collections, against an enchanting digital backdrop. The images from these fairytales will be brought to life through captivating animation, transforming the magic of the books into an immersive experience. Join us in exploring this special collection anytime from 10am–3pm on Friday 23 August to read and experience some lesser-known Australian fairytales.
