About the event
This session will help you to develop your knowledge of systematic and scoping reviews and other evidence syntheses in the Health and Sciences disciplines.
You will gain:
- an overview of systematic reviews and other evidence syntheses
- techniques for developing systematic searches and translating searches across databases
- an introduction to searching for grey literature
- information on documenting and reporting search strategies
- strategies for minimising bias in your reviews.
Pre-requisite: an understanding of advanced database search functions including subject headings, proximity searches and line-by-line searching. This content is covered in the Advanced searching: positioning your research project workshop.
This workshop will be useful to HDR students from the Health and SEBE faculties planning on conducting a systematic review or other evidence synthesis.
This session will be recorded, and the recording will be sent out to all registered attendees.
